Pro-Xylane is a glycoprotein polymer derived from beech xylose, with the molecular formula C8H16O5 and CAS number 868156-46-1. It can be used to improve skin elasticity and alleviate skin aging, as well as in medical aesthetic chemicals and cosmetic active ingredients. It is a biologically active C-glycoside in aqueous medium and can be used as a biosynthetic activator for mucopolysaccharides (GAGs).
